Cyanide Tree
Inspired by my trip to Borneo in 2006. I was amazed by the bio-diversity. The shear number of amazing plants that looked like insects and insects that looked like plants. The jungles were dripping with life. My goal with this artwork was to capture this feeling. I travelled to a place called Mt Kinabalu and documented the forest with my camera. I made some sketches on paper, and 3D sculptures in a program called Zbrush. The 3D sections of the tree were then rendered and montaged with my photography in Photoshop to create the final image.
